Kensington roof gardens and a birthday outfit of the day

It's been a while since my last outfit of the day, but with the beautiful Kensington roof gardens as a backdrop, the boyfriend on hand to act as a photographer and my new camera lens to play with I just had to take a couple of photos for the blog:

I was lucky that it was such a warm sunny day on my birthday and with the weather being so unpredictable this summer I wanted to take full advantage. I've always loved navy stripes and I thought this H&M dress was the perfect balance between comfort and style. The Bailey & Quinn bag was a recent present to myself and without even realising I managed to go for my favourite colour combination of navy and pink.

As for Kensington roof gardens, it was just absolutely beautiful and the perfect haven away from the hustle and bustle of Central London. With so many colourful flowers, water features and a Moroccan inspired den to relax in, it wasn't hard to imagine that we were on holiday somewhere far more exotic. Safe to say it's now a new favourite and I'll definitely be back for more cocktails this summer!
