Like previous oil cleansers, Nude perfect cleansing oil does a great job of dissolving and removing my make up. I simply take 2-3 pumps (depending on how much make up I'm wearing), spend a minute massaging it into my skin, then rinse off with warm water. The product has a sweet, nutty scent, which I initially I wasn't too keen on, but over time, I've gotten used to it and now hardly even notice.
Nude perfect cleansing oil emulsifies (turns into a milk) on contact with water, but I find that it doesn't rinse off completely. It's not so much of an issue for me as I always use a face flannel, which gets rid of any last traces, but it is worth bearing in mind if you're after something that rinses away fully with water.
I find Nude perfect cleansing oil to be very gentle on the skin. After use, my skin is left feeling cleansed but still nourished and soft, and my skin doesn't appear to be any oilier than usual.

Retailing at £28, ml for ml, it actually works out cheaper than my previous cleansers. One of the main selling points for me is that it comes in a plastic bottle (so great for travelling), and most importantly, the bottle seems to be fully leak proof.

Have you tried anything from NUDE skincare? What's your favourite cleanser?
I love cleansing oils too! I normally use face wipes followed by another cleanser but this gives a much deeper clean. I really like the DHC one :)

They're great aren't they! Do you know if the DHC one contains mineral oil? x
DeleteI'm not sure about this stuff! It is light and removes make up but seems to leave a bit of oil!! I might have to try it again :D x
ReplyDeleteI'm have the same problem, but try using a face flannel after rinsing x
DeleteI love oil cleanser but they have to be 100% natural like this one. I think once you get over the initial skepticism of oil cleansing you fall in love. This one is a bit out of my budget so I use a coconut one from Balm Balm.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more. The coconut oil sounds interesting, might have to give that a go once this runs out. Thanks for recommending x
DeleteFor some reason I thought this product was pricier than this, may give it a go when I've used up my current evening cleanser! x
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when that happens :) Hope you'll like it x
DeleteI had never used a face cleansing oil in my life and was a tad scared of them, then I got one from The Sanctuary and absolutely loved it. Only problem with that one is it smells a bit greasy which I wasn't too fond of but once you wash it away theres no trace of the smell at all, might have to try this once I finish that one off as it sounds lovely! xx

They're great aren't they! I had no idea The Sanctuary did one too, will have to investigate next time I'm in Boots. Hope you'll like this one if you decide to give it a try x
DeleteI have never used a cleansing oil before, I've always been a bit frightened to! I was always worried about them leaving my skin with a residue but this sounds lovely x
ReplyDeleteThis one leaves a slight residue if you don't use a face flannel, but otherwise it's a great cleanser. I know what you mean. I have oily skin too and was initially so reluctant to try them x
DeleteThat looks really interesting! I've never tried NUDE products before. Although I do have oily skin so it might not be for me.
ReplyDeleteMy skin is combination/oily too and I've not had any problems. Might be worth trying a sample first though x
DeleteI'm the same - in the past I would never go near an oil based product because of my combination skin. Now I've discovered they're actually good for my skin and don't make it extra oily I can't get enough!
ReplyDeleteThey're great aren't they! I can't imagine using anything else as an evening cleanser now x
