NOTD - Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel in Tweed

This Winter I've been obsessed with dark, vampy colours. On Friday, I had the opportunity to get my nails done, and as soon as I spotted Avon Tweed, I knew it would be the perfect colour to see me through the weekend:

In the bottle, Avon Tweed looks almost black, but after 2 coats on the nails, it turned out to be the most gorgeous burgundy plum shade. The nail varnish has a creme finish and even without top coat it was super glossy.

My manicure was done with a base and top coat, but after 3 days of hand washing and housework, the colour is still going strong. Not bad considering the nail varnish retails for £6 (currently on offer for £3). A few months ago, I had my nails painted with Essie Wicked and judging by my photos, I'd say this is a pretty good dupe.

    I have got the same shade, it's gorgeous so goth!! I spotted it on Avon's event and I ordered it the next day!
