Liz Earle may be best known for her skincare, but in recent years, the brand has started to branch out into make up and fragrance. Last month saw the launch of a new
Liz Earle Botanical Essence No 15 Eau de parfum and as a big fan of the original perfume, I couldn't wait to give this a try:
The fragrance is made up of 15 specially selected botanical ingredients (hence the name) and comes beautifully presented in a rectangular glass bottle with a wraparound cardboard box.
Like the first fragrance, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the packaging and I really like the illustrations of all the different ingredients.
With notes of bergamot, patchouli, sandalwood, clove, vanilla and pink pepper, Botanical Essence No 15 is sophisticated, spicy, seductive and just a little bit sweet. The scent has a luxurious aromatherapy feel to it and I find it to be long lasting on my skin. This is fast becoming one of my favourite autumn/winter scents and for those of you that are starting to think about Christmas, this would be a great present idea for any sisters or best friends.
