The perfect teatime treat has to be a brew of Vanilla tea from The Tea Shop in Covent Garden, accompanied with a slice of Battenburg, Laduree’s rose macaroons and a slice of homemade Victoria sponge with fresh strawberries and cream. Perfection.

My favourite indulgent treat is a slice of Morrisons' lemon sponge with fresh cream - light, tangy, delicious! But I also love a nice thick slice of tiger bread with proper butter, that makes me feel like I'm in the 1940s!
