If like me, you struggle to apply mascara to your bottom lashes, then this is a must have product for your make up collection.
It comes in a really cute silver tube, and has a 1cm tapered brush, which makes it much easier to get to the bottom lashes and coat them with mascara. The smaller brush gives a more precise application and defines my lashes without getting mascara all over my skin. It can sometimes form small clumps if I've been a bit heavy handed but they are easily removed with a clean mascara wand.
As you can see from the photo, it really helps to darken and separate my lower lashes and whenever I use this, my eyes look more defined and awake. Best of all, it's totally smudge and flake resistant, so looks as good at the end of the day as it does when first applied in the morning.
Have you tried any of the Clinique mascaras? Do you also struggle to apply mascara to your lower lashline?
Yay been waiting for this post, looks great I really want it, going to add it to my growing wishlist :-) x
ReplyDeleteI struggle SO much with my bottom left lashes. I'm right handed and there is something especially difficult about reaching over your nose to apply bottom lash mascara.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I will give this a try.
I always struggle with bottom lashes. Great review lovely!

great review! i must try this product. :) it really defines your lower lashes!
ReplyDeleteI really like Clinique mascaras. This one looks great - the little brush is so cute! I find bigger brushed mascaras really hard to apply to the lower lash line without making a huge mess. x
ReplyDeletenope, haven't tried this mascara or any clinique products. >__< I do struggle when applying mascara to my bottom lashes though.. this might come in handy ^^
ReplyDeleteCatherine - Glad it was helpful, I'd highly recommend the mascara x
ReplyDeleteKatherine - Glad I'm not the only one who struggles. I hope you like it x
Jess - Thank you x
sugar sugar - Thanks, I hope you'll like it too x
LilyLipstick - I had exactly the same problem. I want to try their high lengths and curling mascara next x
aisyah De Cullen- Seems a lot of people struggle with their bottom lashes, I'd highly recommend this one x
ReplyDeleteOO i've wanted to try this out for a while now but haven't had a chance to go to a clinique counter! do you think you could use this to layer on the top lashes for smudge-proofness?
ReplyDeleteJenny - I'm not sure if it would make another mascara smudgeproof, but the brush is so small that it would just be easier to use a waterproof mascara on the top lashes x
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review, I've been wanting this for a while!
ReplyDeleteLOOK! FLYING MONKEYS!- You're welcome, I hope it was helpful x
ReplyDeleteThe brush is soo small and cute. I struggle applying mascara on bottom lashes without looking like a racoon.
ReplyDeleteDo you think this will be good for rogue lashes that go the wrong way?
Skin Scrubs - I'm not sure if it'll help pull the rogue lashes in line with the other ones, but the small brush would do a good job of coating it with mascara x
ReplyDeletethanks for the review! i've heard so much about this from fleurdeforce's blog and it seems really great. i'll definitely check it out :)
