As well as the Mediterrean and Caribbean collections for SS11, Sleek make up have lots of other new products due for release in 2011:
The iDivine palette from the nude collection reminds me somewhat of their famous Storm palette, but the colours are more muted and mostly matte. There's also a chocolate blusher which doubles up as a bronzer and a peachy nude pout polish.
The 'oh so special' palette includes a selection of peachy shades, neutral browns and smokey greys and blacks. Again a mixture of matte and shimmery shades.
They've also extended the number of shades available for their new skin revive foundation. The range now has 30 shades, and they're hoping with such a varied range of colours, they'll be a shade for everyone!
For the lips, they've added more colours to their range of true colour lipsticks. There are 2 finishes to choose from (sheen and matte), and my favourite colour is 'barely there', a really natural peachy pink shade for everyday lips.
Finally due for release in the summer, is their collection of lip paints. Similar to OCC lip tars, these lip products are super pigmented and come in a range of 10 colours (the actual product will be packaged in a tube).
At the event we were given the chance to mix our own unique shade, and I went for a bubblegum pink colour. The above photo shows one swipe, so you can see how pigmented the product is!
What do you think about their new launches? Any of the products catch your eye?
I am definitely excited about their lip paints, the shade you mixed is lovely! :) xx
ReplyDeleteVanity-Fashionista - Thank you, it's quite a bright shade so I'll be saving it for nights out x
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to those lip paints! The palettes look gorgeous too - as always! Sleek always has such stunning collections!

Natalie @ BeauMakeup- I think they're going to be very popular once they hit the shelves! Glad you like their palettes x
ReplyDeleteSleek has hit the spot with this new eyeshadow palette! I'm in love!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad they'll be selling this OCC lip tar equivalent, in my country we don't have easy access on OCC so that's great ;)
cbsg5861- They really have, I love how wearable both the palettes are. OCC lip tars aren't the easiest to get hold off here either, but it'll be good to have similar products on the high street x
ReplyDelete*Dies* Absolutely everything photographed looks stunning! I'm so excited for the lip paints, your bubblegum pink is pretty :)
ReplyDeleteBeauty's Bad Habit - Thank you :) They've got some lovely colours launching this year x

ReplyDeleteLooks like Sleek have some really lovely products coming up. For some reason I never gravitate towards their displays in store but I think I should have a look at some point. Great post! xo
ReplyDeletejennie - Thank you, it's definitely worth a look, I think the colours in the oh so special palette would really suit you x

L'Amour Lauran - Couldn't agree more, I think these palettes are definitely some of their most wearable ones, along with the Storm palette. Hope you like them when they hit the shelves x
ReplyDeleteThat palette looks so nice! And mixing your own lip colour must have been so much fun! :)
ReplyDeleteX
Chuui- Glad you like it, it was pretty fun creating a new colour x
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm totally in love with the 'Oh So Special' palette! Love the colours. Also really like the Peaches & Cream lipstick too! :) When are they due out? Oh, I went to Primark today to look their underwear... Why do all the matching bra sets only feature thongs?! Might check out M&S tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteBee - I'm afraid we weren't told when they'd be due out, but it should be within the next few months. Did you end up buying any from Primark, I'm pretty sure they do matching briefs as well, but you may have to buy the bra and briefs separately. Hope you find something nice in M+S x
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for these new products. Sleek have really stepped up their game and are one of my fave brands. Thanks for the pics! xx
ReplyDeleteTass- You're welcome, they're definitely one of the nicest brands on the high street x
ReplyDeleteBarely there sounds nice, shame my local superdrug doesnt stock sleek. Means a trip into Cardiff.
ReplyDeleteDo you know when these hit the shops?
Ms Red
xx
Ms Red- They should be available on the Superdrug website as well. Unfortunately we weren't told when at the event, but it should be within the next few months x
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for the Oh So Special palette and the pout polish that goes with it - what is it called?
ReplyDeletethis looks like the nicest sleek collection yet!
ReplyDeleteDo you know how many of the oh so special palettes are shimmer shades vs. matte?
ReplyDeleteYu- At the event they oh so special palette was displaced by itself, so I don't think there is pout polish that goes with it x
ReplyDeleteselina- Glad you like it x
LiAnn - Sparklecrack Central - I'm not 100% sure, but I *think* there are more matte than shimmery shades x
I love it !
ReplyDeleteive had nearly all the palettes in the past but never used them, always go for my mac ones. i do have a few of their blushes though and i use them alot along with their contour powder.
