Recently I've had to leave the house at 7:30 in the morning. Because of the early start I've been trying to spend less time getting ready so I can spend just that little bit longer in bed. These are the current products I'm using which allows me to apply my make up in less than 5mins.
I start by applying Garnier tinted eye roll on to the undereye area and blend it in with my fingers.
Next I dab some Maybelline dream mousse blush in peach satin to the apples of my cheeks and blend out slightly, again using my fingers.
I then use the kabuki brush from the Maybelline mineral foundation to buff in MAC mineralize skinfinish natural to my T zone to minimise shine and even out the skintone.
This is followed by quickly curling my lashes and applying 2 coats of Maxfactor false lash mascara.
Finally I apply a slick of vaseline or carmex and I'm done!
Its pretty basic but it definitely helps me to look brighter and more awake during the day. What are your favourite products for using in a rush?
Nice post! I use the MAC mineralize skinfinish natural too :)
ReplyDeleteMakeup Kitten- Thanks lovely- What do you think of the MSF? I'm still undecided x
ReplyDeletethat maxfactor mascara is the best! whenever i'm in a rush i just use my dermalogica tinted moisturizer and this mascara..
ReplyDeleteAH- Its great isn't it, its the only one I've found so far that lasts all day on me x
ReplyDeleteGreat post - that sounds like a really good quick make-up routine! I really want to try the Garnier eye roll-on and Mac MSF! x
ReplyDeleteLilyLipstick- Haha it really is, esp as I'm always running late in the mornings. You should, they are both nice products, although they need a wider range of colours x
ReplyDeleteIt all sounds wonderful!

ReplyDeleteDylana- Thanks x
ReplyDeleteHannahbabeyxo- Me too, its a great mascara x
Love your blog! Do you find that the Garnier stuff works? I'm tempted to buy it but haven't heard anyone's opinion on it yet! x
ReplyDeleteSusan- Thanks lovely. Its a tinted roll on so not as full coverage as a concealer but I find that it definitely helps to neutralise and brighten the area. Its my go to product atm because of how quick and easy it is to use x
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty much identical to my quick face! Apart from the blush, I would use my current fave which is a Bourjois one (number 16 I think, can't remember the name...)Excellent choices if I say so myself :)
ReplyDeletethank-you dear! no it is quite easy to look after :) you just have to make sure you blow dry it so it sits in place.
ReplyDeletehth! :)

Beautyjunkielondon- Haha thanks x
