Project using everything up
3 January 2010
One of my resolutions for 2009 was to try and use up my stash of toiletries and only buy things that I've run out of or don't have in my collection. Overall its been pretty successful and I managed to not buy any toiletries unless I'd run out. I even managed to resist the Boots post-Xmas sale (which is a big weakness of mine), but the Soap and Glory hat box and Lush spend £20 get a gift set promotion was just too good an offer to resist.
All together in 2009 I managed to finish nearly 80 products which I'm really pleased about!
But despite this I still have a big stash of products so I'm going to be really strict with myself this year and only buy stuff I've run out off (no matter how good the offer) simply because I have too much stuff already. Wish me luck!
Are any of you planning on doing something similar and try and use up what you already own before buying more?

ReplyDeleteI've been doing the same since last Feb and have come quite a long way, the space I get after clearing out all the stuff I don't use is great
