I was introduced to MAC 2 years ago by a flatmate and pretty much fell in love with the brand straight away, although I only allowed myself to buy a concealer as I didn't need anything else plus it seemed a little expensive at the time. Over the last 2 years I've brought a few more items and this is my current collection:
L-R
Mineralize skinfinish in medium
Select cover up concelaer sample in NC25
Sheertone shimmer blush in Springsheen
Select moisturecover in NC30
Sheertone blush in Blushbaby
Studio finish concealer in NC30
Let me know if you want reviews or swatches of any of the products above.
I also own the 209 eyeliner brush, the 195 concealer brush and the 187 duo fibre brush.
For my birthday my lovely friends got me a £25 MAC voucher as part of my present. The idea is I'd go for a makeover then I can put the £25 towards some product purchases.
The problem is that I have no idea what to get, I've discovered a lot of good high street make up brands recently and a lot of the things I would have previously brought from MAC I now buy from Boots. So I would love to hear what your favourite MAC products are. Please leave me a comment if you have any recommendations/suggestions.
Thanks in advance :)
Hmm.. what products do you think you need more in your entire makeup collection? Eyes? Lips? Cheeks?
ReplyDeleteGetting a makeover sounds good though. Then you'll find out your necessities at least. xx
If i had £25 to spend in MAC i personally would be a nice neutral eyeshadow something like all that glitters or satin taupe (£11) and a nude lipstick like myth or creme d nude, both gorgeous! (£12) and you would have change left over!
ReplyDeleteI do love you collection though and mineralize skinfinish naturals are amazing!
<3 xox
You need Carbon eyeshadow in your life!
ReplyDeleteThe mineralize blushes are great too cos they offer a bit of highlight to them, soit's like glowing blush in my opinion!
I love MAC eyeshadows and lipsticks/lipglasses, though the lipglasses can be sticky. Carbon eyeshadow is versitle as you can use it as a liner too but my fave it Satin Taupe or All That Glitters. A makeover would let you test the products though before you buy them and a MUA will help you get the right products for you :) I tagged you in my blog btw! xx
